Morning Lakesiders,The frost has been a real issue over the last 2 mornings with the competition today only getting going shotgun style at 11 30 am. The weather models (Tom Kavanagh if the truth be told) also seem to be suggesting a calmer but colder start to this winter, So from next Sunday Nov 13th we will be going to 13 holes for our winter league. Scores will all be rounded up by 10 stableford points to give the equivalent of an 18 hole return. The computer will be set to automatically adjust handicaps accordingly ie 13 18ths of your handicap. Oh, again just to remind people as we have a large society out next Saturday the 12th (bringing some valuable revenue into the course) there is no timesheet in operation but there will be some very limited spaces for full members unable to play in the winter league on Sunday, please ring Betty to arrange your time.
