The popular “Wino’s” 9 hole scrambles resume on Thursday the 21st of April. This popular weekly comp is always great fun and a great way to meet and make some new friends, “great for one’s wellbeing don’ you know” as an tutor of mine use to say. Competitors traditionally meet at 5 30pm in the clubhouse for the draw (phone ahead if running late for inclusion) and tee off at around 6 ish. A couple of glasses of wine in the clubhouse in good company afterwards really makes this a great way to spend your Thursday evenings for the next 5/6 months.
