He sits on that Captains chair
Like chieftains of old
He stands steadfast and bold
To bring the office a touch of flair
His beloved club will receive his zeal
with tireless dedication to his role
And will ensure he reaches his goal
To give this club a universal appeal
Many times his car the Lakes will see
As he toils on the members behalf
Rules with a courteous smile and laugh
A perfect Captain all will agree
May his year linger long in a mind
And his lasting legacy be silver lined
