Evening Lakesiders, when you look at the headline you probably think “yea right” but if ever there was a battling defeat yesterdays Match against a very skilled Esker Hills team was it. We lost the 1st match at home and the 1st match away but our other 3 pairings never gave up. Away Dave Costigan and Pat Brady were called in on the 19th and at home Paul Dowd and Niall O Conner were called in on the 22nd. Conor Fallon and Diarmuid McCarthy were unfortunately beaten on the 19th despite the serious thought and effort they put into every shot they played, my jelly tot had a canary when i got home she reckoned i got 36 holes in yesterday, i am going back to managing footie teams, Hard luck guys great fighting you all done the club proud yesterday and if any of the Esker Hills lads are looking in well done guys, yiz will be hard bet.
