Spring League Update

Morning lakesiders, the 1st 2 weekends of the Spring league have taken place but unfortunately we lost the Sunday of the 1st weekend and the Saturday  of the 2nd. If we were too cancel the competition any week that the course was closed on one of the days it would make it exceedingly difficult to get all 10 rounds in, so bearing this in mind  it makes sense to watch the forecasts and try and pick the right day to play, in saying that it looks like frost will not be an issue this coming weekend. Domestic cuts along the same lines as the winter league are in play just for each separate comp but not for peoples overall league score. Round 1 of the league (13 holes) saw Garden Team manager Joe Donohoe win with a great score of 30 pts. Round 2 also played over 13 holes saw Mark Williams taking top spot again with a score of 30 pts, in 2nd came Michael Cullen  with 29pts. Liam Crosbie  took 3rd spot from Alan Doolan on the countback after they both returned 27pts. Great to see our a good few of our minor members taking up the option of competing in this years league….Go full for 16 guys, great buddy deals on the membership page.
