Great to see Ronnie Feighry (10) back in the winners enclosure after playing most of late last year with a troublesome back injury. Ronnie won Rd 3 of the Spring league on the count back from Paul Culligan (9) with both gentlemen finishing with 28 pts for the 13 holes. Paul also played outstandingly in his Garden County Match v Mount Wolsley on Saturday where himself and Alan Doolan secured a vital point against what was seemingly Wolsley’s top pairing. Ronnie’s return to form must surely have been noticed by team manager Joe Donohoe, Next week, weather permitting, sees the resumption of 18 hole competitions and the completion of the 1st 4 rounds of the league. This is where it gets interesting with lads then trying to drop their lowest score. Over 40 played at the weekend good stuff.
