Results from Play In Pink Day

Our inaugural Play in Pink event took place on Sunday 31st July 2022. With a full timesheet and packed golf course, from the veranda it was like watching a flamboyance of flamingos taking flight.

The style from both the men and women was exquisite and inventive, from knee high patent socks to golf tee earrings. There was even pink crocheted golf covers on view.

The ladies team of Julie Walshe, Caoimhe Flood and Sinead Flood took the top spot with a fabulous score of 109. (The handicap secretary should been informed whoever that is !!!)

Breast cancer is a disease that has probably touched all our lives in one way or another and hopefully the money we have raised will go in some small way to help in finding a cure.

Well done everyone at Blessington Lakes Golf Club. We raised €2,368.
