Presidents Prize Weekend

Morning folks and best of Luck to Helen Farrell our President who hosts the Presidents prize this weekend. A big thanks to the course volunteers who worked tirelessly right up to dark last night in ensuring that the Blessed Nine looked her best this morning. Some interesting Pins from what i saw last night and looking in the clubhouse last night and the layout of prizes folks Wow.

Can we also remind members that our Night out in the Avon Ri takes is set for next Saturday night the 27th. Tickets are € 25 each and are available at the clubhouse. There will be a presentation of prizes, some food music and i think we are going to Dance as well, mad stuff not done in ages, gonna be brill. Just looking through some recent club competition results recently Conor Steed’s 7 up in that V Par comp really stands out. Conor has lowered his handicap by 6 shots since May 21 so well done. Jamie Tutty has also returned some brilliant scores, a gross 73 in July when he was 2nd in a midweek comp with 4 birdies for example. Jamie now regularly getting into that conversation about who is the best player in the club. And a big welcome to the steady stream of new full members continuing to Join each week. Our full membership list has virtually doubled since the club took over the running of the facility. Pay and play members just to be aware that we have a package to End of Feb 24 where you guys can upgrade to full membership and have the remaining term of your pay and play membership discounted, just speak to Julie or any of the clubhouse staff.
