President’s Prize Singles Stableford from blue markers. Entry Fee is €20 which will cover the meal immediately after the 18 holes and the two’s club. The top 27 players to include the top 3 gross scores regardless of the nett result will qualify for the 9 hole final after the meal. The two’s club will only apply for the 1st 18 holes. To be eligible to win President’s Prize you must have either returned 3 singles cards in Blessington Lakes in 2017 or have represented the Club at interclub level in 2017.
Qualification criteria for final 9
The top 27 nett scores to include the top 3 gross scores regardless of the nett result will qualify for the final 9* (ties decided by countback, see below). The playoff will be played in 3 balls and commence with a shotgun start with the leaders starting on the 1st hole.
If there is a tie for first place after 27 holes a sudden death play off will commence from the 1st hole until a winner is decided by best stableford score on the hole.
*if a player qualifies on gross score only but is outside the top 27 nett they will not be elligible to compete for any nett prize in the final or player of the year points. They will only be competing for the top gross prize over the 27 holes.
