Evening lakesiders, Next month will see our President Tom Bealin….viva el presidente,… present his prize to Full Members. The competition will be over 27 holes and proceed according to the following arrangements.
Registration will be through the BRS timesheet and will be made a available on Friday 2nd June at 11am. To facilitate the shotgun start slots will be limited on a first come first served basis. The draw for the shot gun start will be made on Friday the 9th June at 9pm.
9 30 am sign in
10 am shotgun, 18 hole qualifier (Shot gun start)
3pm meal
4pm shotgun, top 27 qualifiers 9 hole 2nd round
7pm presentation
Qualification criteria for final 9
The top 27 nett scores to include the top 3 gross scores regardless of the nett result will qualify for the final 9* (ties decided by countback)
If there is a tie for first place after 27 holes a sudden death play off will commence from the 1st hole until a winner is decided by best nett score.
*if a player qualifies on gross score only but is outside the top 27 nett they will not be elligible to compete for any nett prize in the final or player of the year points. They will only be competing for the top gross prize over the 27 holes.

Please note that we have had some communication from the course management around some members not staying within the agreed timeframe of their payment plan/DD/standing order. Members not adhering to agreed arrangements must bring themselves back into compliance……enough of that crap. LADS SORT IT… IF YOU OWE MONEY PAY IT OTHERWISE YOU ARE NOT ELIGIBLE TO PLAY IN COMPETITIONS…SIMPLE AS. This has the potential to be a great day with double points on offer for POY ..even just squeezing in to the top 27 you have a chance with a good last 9 holes of course to gather valuable points, there will also be a best last 9 prize just to tempt the “squeezers in” back out.
