Pat Nolan (17) certainly made hay yesterday morning as he plotted his way around the Blessed Nine leaving the course some 4 hours later with 41 pts inscribed on his very tidy card. Pat finished 3 clear from Micheal O Neill (28) who finished 2nd with 38 pts well done Michael all those midweek 9 hole practices under the tutelage of our resident scribe now starting to pay off, Watch this space for a tumbling handicap in 17 from Michael folks. 3rd spot was won on the count back by Tom McEwan (12) from Paul Culligan (9) with both gentlemen finishing on 36 pts. What a turnout for our first qualifier of the year long may it continue. The presence of so many very welcome new members and that brilliant Barton Cup victory created a great atmosphere the whole weekend, very enjoyable.
