Blessington Lakes Golf Club

25 Years 1998 to 2023

News updates gossip blah blah blah

Jamesies cat had kittens last night and Mrs O Reilly has had her bunions done….. Joking aside all preparations are underway for our Race night 8 PM Friday 6th May  in Bealins Public House main st Blessington. This is the most important “one off” fundraiser we are having this year and it will go a long way if supported to ensuring that the club remains secure to face any unexpected challenges. The lads on the mens committee have put a lot of voluntary hours in so far this year in restructuring how the club is run, organizing fund raising, participating in Inter club and revamping our competition calendar. If you are unable to attend this weekend please go and seek out a committee member and buy a horse for a tenner,  every little bit helps. There is now a Golf buggy to rent, booking ahead is essential and can be done through Betty. The greens are in the middle of the aeration process but unfortunately the unusually cold conditions for this time of year has meant that the recovery period normally seen in this type of work is a lot slower than normal. Open week starts on Bank holiday Monday again please try and get out once during the week to support.
