We are delighted this morning to announce an exciting new offer to new members considering joining Blessington Lakes Golf Club for 2017. New members, current/former minor members and past full members who have been away from the club in 2016 can now join from Saturday October 22nd until the end of February 2018 for €525 for new members only.
On Saturday 22nd October the club are opening up the course for prospective members to play free of charge. We are hoping to have plenty of people coming to have a look and play so a time sheet will be in operation. You can book a tee time through the club’s BRS booking system or alternatively ring the course manager to reserve a slot over the phone on 045 867146.
The club are conscious of the massive loyalty displayed by the full members who rejoin year after year and who really are the backbone of the club. This new limited offer is solely to find and retain more of you guys. We are also conscious that the new offer is significantly lower that the current full member rate so in an effort to level the playing field so to speak we are also going to reduce the Buddy deal to €1,050 for existing members bringing in a new member. Therefore if any full member brings in a new member the combined membership fee will be €1,050 for the 2. It is up to you how you decided to split this between you and the new member.
We all should now actively go out and sell the club which really is a club and not a “resort” to people we think may be interested in joining. The club is already entered National and provincial GUI competitions across all ranges of handicaps for the 2017 season. The 2017 club competition fixture list will be available on Sat 22nd for prospective members to view. We will have a number of club officers present on the day to answer any questions. There will also be a direct debit option with this offer with the paperwork being available for those wishing to join on the day. This offer will be limited to 50 new full members.
