Evening all, while the evenings are getting a little shorter there is still time in the next few weeks to get 9 holes in after work. To encourage people to get out on the course we are going to trial a 9 hole Autumn league over the next 8 weeks. The league will run from Monday to Friday each week and you can enter as many times as you want each week. As per our 2016 plan announced at the AGM these 9 hole comps will be qualifying (weather permitting). Here are the key points of the league,
Commences on Mon 5th Sept for 8 weeks.
Enter Monday to Friday inclusive each week, no weekend entries.
é3 entry per entry as many times per week as you wish, entries in marked envelopes please.
Separate dedicated 9 hole competition sign in book in operation with each individual/multiple entries to be noted.
Front 9 holes only each week for duration of League, no 2’s club.
9 hole qualifying (weather permitting) with all scores to be entered on the computer on completion..
é20 voucher to the winner each week.
All prize money will be to be given back with the balance after the 8 x é20 vouchers to be given as follows…… 50% to the winner of the league, 30% to the runner up and 20% to the 3rd place finisher.
Best 4 cards (which must be from separate weeks) to count towards league score. In the event of a tie the best last counting card will determine the winner , in the event of these cards still tying, last 6, last 3 etc will determine the eventual winner.
The committees decisions in matters requiring adjudication are final.
Please book in advance on Tuesday and Wednesdays on line or by phone as the midweek open is time slotted.
You cannot enter the midweek open and 9 hole Autumn league at the same time.You can play in both the same day however one after the other.
