Great to See Ray Murphy (13) return to action at the weekend and in style to folks as Ray returned a score of 40 pts to win by 4 from Sean Farrell (09) who threw in a 36pts return to grab another 19 pts towards his Spring League score. Sean in turn finished 2 pts ahead of a trio of competitors who all clocked up 34 pts, Diarmuid Mc Carthy, Chris Haughton and Ger Murray. There was a veritable flock of birdies this week 9 to be precise with each sighting returning the princely sum, love that saying of 8 Europeans and 67 cents. The Spring League table is now really taking shape with some competitors being now in the position of trying to drop their lowest of their 4 cards. Now to see if Glasgow’s Green and white can triumph.
