Joe O Toole’s (14) 27 pts was just about good enough to take the winners voucher in Round 6 of the Winter hamper and Duck league. It was a close run thing as Pat Brady (10) also finished on the same mark just getting pipped on the countback, great score Paddy well in the hunt now for an aul hamper. It was an absolute cracker of a morning, you would swear you were in Ireland. The course though still played long and tough evidenced by the fact that only 2 competitors were better than level 2 points over the 13 holes and there only being 8 birdies. Lar Doyle had the only duece of the weekend (you Jammy…….dodger Lar).
