Adam Feighry’s remarkable start to 2017 continued last Sunday with yet another top place finish in the May Medal. Adam’s winning score of 66 also kicked in an additional ESR cut which now means that Adam is now rated as a 7 handicap golfer….feckin hell Adam that was a bit strong from the suits up in Carton house. Well done Adam get practicing for the Jimmy Bruen. In second spot came Derek Brogan with a nett 67 well done Derek great to see our newbies getting in and shaking up things on the podium. Well done to all Category winnres. Just looking at Niall’s best gross card as i heard a little rumour on Sunday that the course record was looking vulnerable but sure enough the old lady tightened her fairways and tricked up her greens and in the end kept her mark in place. Joking aside Niall had got to 2 under with a few holes to go. Great shooting Niall, it will happen pal.
