Blessington Lakes Golf Club have been selected to host the Leinster R&A 9-Hole Challenger Regional Qualifier on Monday 12th June 2023. This follows the Munster and Connacht qualifiers on 9th June and precedes the Ulster qualifier on 19th June. Aisling O’Connor and Philip Holmes will represent BLGC. 40 Teams in total will participate with a start time of 9am. The ultimate prize is to play at Royal Liverpool on the eve of the 151st Open in July. The flurry of activity around the clubhouse and course is in preparation for this important event has been very evident all week. Best of luck to Aisling ,Philip and all taking part. This weekend see’s the June medal for men taking place. This will take place alongside an Open Mixed Singles off the blue tee’s. This is gonna be a test folks with the hard ground making any type off off line tee shot to potentially be in a wee bit of bother.
