The annual Lakeside Challenge was held on Saturday the 7th of October, 2023 in Blessington Lakes Golf Club. Congratulation to our winning team led by our Club Captian Christy Mc Guirk. The successful team members were; Breda Manning, Ita Hill, Jamie Tutty, Pat Brady, Darach Nugent, Vincent Chapman, Damien Adderley, Ray Murphy (straight from the Spanish tour), Christy Mc Guirk, and Daire Hanrahan. and the winning scores were 9.5 to 5.5. The Lakeside Challenge standings are now Blessington Lakes 7, Tulfarris 6.
Thank you to all those who helped on the day, Gerry Murray for working out the handicaps prior to the game and all the Clubhouse staff for their help in organizing the event. It was very much appreciated. – Christy McGuirk (Captain)
