JB Carr team goes down in Woodner

last Wednesday afternoon our JB Carr team took on the organizers of the competition, Woodenbridge GC on their patch. This was always going to be a tough assignment with the home teams in this particular competition having all 5 matches on their course, it is sometimes hard to get an exact score in interclub matches when matches are called in early, Blessington lost the 1st 3 matches but our pairings of Brian Hogan and Liam Crosbie and Vinny Chapman and Dennis Hennessy were 4 up and 3 up in the last 2 matches and about to close out the games when they were called in. Woodenbridge itself, wow what a setting to hit golf balls and the guys down there, absolute gentlemen, thanks for a great day out.
