Dermot McCarthy’s (5) expedition to the icy wastes of Baltyboys last Sunday proved most fruitful. Dermot steered the ball around the Blessed 9 to the tune of 34 pts, a brilliant score considering the frigid gale that blew the entire day. 2nd place was quite a battle with Tom McGrath (23), Alan Dolan (6) and Said Hadjami (14) all finishing with 32 pts. Tom McGrath took the 2nd place voucher and 19 pts for his league tallyl on the countback. Alan’s 18 pts 3rd place, again on the countback moves him right up to the business end of the Spring League, “4 bags is comin for you silky” Said played brilliantly on Sunday hitting some magnificent drives and irons,however some bad luck on the last few holes saw him slip back somewhat. Said must surely be a cert to start the Pierce Purcell in May. The results are not on Masterscore board due to some connectivity issues that we will hopefully have sorted by the weekend.
