Course Boundary Fences and Co-vid Certs Required for indoor dining

Evening folks, members playing in the last week may have noticed some sheep encroaching on the course on a number of days. This necessitated club volunteers having to go out and check the course boundaries to find out where the sheep were getting in. Volunteers found a number of damaged fences and made the necessary repairs to hopefully prevent the sheep getting back in. So folks just so its said UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES should any members climb through, across or over any of the course boundary fences. You are trespassing, possibly damaging the fences and thus enabling sheep and other livestock onto the course where they will do damage.

As members begin moving more indoors to have their tea’s coffee’s and snacks etc its please be aware that you will need to have your Co Vid vaccination certs available for inspection, photo ID and be willing to provide your contact details to the clubhouse staff. These details will be noted in the daily log that the club is required to keep as part of the return to indoor dining. Below is taken from the Citizens Information website.

“To access indoor service such as restaurants, pubs and nightclubs, you must show proof that you are fully vaccinated or have recovered from COVID-19 in the past 6 months (proof of immunity). Children under 18 who are dining with you do not need proof of vaccination or recovery. You may be asked for proof that your child is under 18. Minors (people under 18) who are alone must show vaccination certs or proof of immunity.

Businesses can refuse entry if you cannot show proof of vaccination or immunity or you cannot show that your certificate relates to you– for example, by showing photo id. If businesses do not do this, they may be liable for fines or closure”
