Competitions Update new 9 hole re-entry comp

Evening folks so competitions will resume this weekend with a 13 hole singles stableford which is open to all member categories only. We cannot accommodate visitors this weekend unfortunately.

Sunday Mornings till 11 am from now till St Patricks day will be reserved for Full Members Only.

As mentioned a few days ago we have a society booking on Sat morning and once they have confirmed numbers we may be able to open up slots for members. This local society has been coming to the Lakes for years and i am sure they are thrilled that their event is going ahead. So bear with us till Thursday evening. I know, its frustrating first weekend back and all that.

The following weekend, the 12th and 13th we will also have a 13 hole singles stableford competitions run across both the days. We may open this up to visitors and guests. After the 18th and the easing of travel restrictions we will hold 3 rounds of our full members Winter League again very likely to be 13 hole affairs depends on the weather really. The league will run parallel to the weekends competition. Full members can submit a score on either the Saturday or Sunday. It looks like some type of travel restrictions will be introduced after the 6th of Jan and if that turns out to be the case we will resume the league once all members can participate.

December will also see the club trial a new monthly 9 hole competition that you can re-enter as many times as you like. This comp is for Full members and entry is only 2 euros, you will need to sign into the comp each time you play through the computer Folks 1st could be a week in Salou or a 2 weeks in a public convenience, all depends on entries. Joking aside its always nice to have something to play for. Hope everyone has done their homework and is up to speed on the WHS…….have they anything to do with the NHS or the BHS.
