Last weekend May 20th and 21st we had 2 separate competitions. On Saturday we had a great entry.1st spot was hard fought over with Colin Byrne (21) and Rana Shahbaz (10) both returning 38 pts. Colin got it on the Back 9. In 3rd we had Stephen Kavanagh (24) on 37 pts. We had 5 deuces in the 2’s club paying out a nice Purse fattener of 14 and a half Europeans each. On Sunday Ger Carthy (17) emerged Victorious with 39 pts with Ross O Duffy (32) in 2nd again just pipped on the countback after returning 39 pts. Nice to See Larry Mc Grath (28) in the prizes after winning the midweek open with 35 pts well done Lar.
