Club raises €930 for Blessington Senior Citizens

On Bank Holiday Monday, 31^st October, the club held a 3 person Champagne Scramble in aid of Blessington & District Senior Citizens Care Association. Despite an unfavourable weather forecast, the sun shone down on over 50 players.   Overall winners on a great score of 90 were Liam McLoughlin, John Butler and David Sargent – congratulations and very well done lads.   Together with proceeds from a raffle, over €930 was raised for a very deserving local charity.   Many thanks to all who contributed in any way.
