Where do we start there is so much going on at this time of the year. First off great numbers in both the Open Singles and the July Medal for Full Members. Both comps have the provisional results up on Master Scoreboard and we will have a write up tomorrow on both comps. Next weekend sees the club running an open singles on the Saturday and a 3 person open Rumble on the Sunday. The Rumble promises to be a a great bit of craic, you get to play as part of a team but can also keep account of your on score, so the best of both world. Your team score for the Rumble will be the best 2 stableford scores on the par 4’s and 5’s with all 3 scores to count on those tricky pr 3’s. This is an open competition open to all Categories of members and visitors alike. The 2020 Full members Singles Matchplay Draw was made at lunch time on the veranda over a nice cup of coffee and it threw up some Really mouthwatering matches…..mmm Niall O Conner V Jamie Tutty could be arguable the standout game, anyway this competition is played off current handicaps with the lower marked player giving the full difference in handicaps. The Full Draw will be posted here tomorrow evening. First Round matches will need to be completed by August 10th. Entry Fee 10 Europeans.
