A fantastic turnout witnessed our 2 new incoming captains smash it down the misty damp 1st fairway yesterday morning. On behalf of the men’s committee we hope you both really enjoy your respective captaincies . The attention then switched to our by now traditional scramble which was restricted to 9 holes because of the sheer volume of people looking to play, we actually had to close the timesheet for the 1st time in a long time, great to see and evidence of all the hard work done by the club over recent months in recruiting new members many of which played yesterday. The scramble was won by the team of John Searson, Marjorie Herbert, Noel Billane and Conor Fallon. In 2nd spot came the team of Steve Cooling, Jean Mackey,Vinne Chapman and Stephen Peake.Well done to all….. LET THE SEASON COMMENCE
