Cormac Noone (11) won this weeks mid week open 19th/20th April with a score of 37 pts, which was 2 clear of Mathew Kingman (21) from the Heritage GC.Cormac started average enough (SH1T) but recovered excellently playing the last 10 holes in 3 only over Although played in glorious sunshine on both days the pole forked greens meant that every putt had carefully considered.Only 2 birdies by the small field demonstrated the difficulties encountered on the greens. So a small cut for Mr Noone who as promised that he will go Bog Snorkelling if he does not get to single figs this year. MMMMM I sense a fundraiser for early next year.
