We are delighted to let you know that our Charity Golf Classic held last week-end was a great success. We raised a lot of money for our deserving charity – a family whose house and belongings were destroyed by fire. The organising committee are very grateful to our management team for the use of the Course and to our two Captains for their support.
We could not have done this without the support of our organising committee, (Catherine, Breda, Mary O’Brien, Ita, Eilish, Bernie, Helen & Irene) ably led by Dympna Darby. We are overwhelmed by the goodwill from our very generous sponsors, our members and their guests, who played golf, made donations and gave prizes and all who purchased tickets for the raffle. Thank you all so much. To Daire Hanrahan for producing the delicious food on the day and our clubhouse staff for their help over the last number of weeks – Thank you.
