Blessington Lakes GC beat Tulfarris GC 18-3 in the annual Lakeside Challenge played in tough conditions at the weekend. The home side’s comfortable win emphasizing yet again the importance of a home draw in interclub golf. With points on offer for each 9 played as well as the overall each pair could potentially rack up 3 points for their side. In the end Tulfarris only managed to half 2 9’s and win another. This means in the last 2 interclub matches between the clubs the previous being the Provincial towns which Tufarris won 5 4 having the home draw no one has managed an away win.
