Sundays July Medal was played on a magnificently presented course so from all of us Tom many thanks to you and your merry band of Volunteers, man those greens, as our pals from across the water, the bigger one, say were “Awesome” The tee was so far back on the 2nd that you could hear the kettle boiling in Nicks Kitchen and on the 18th as i have may mentioned before its like playing off the back of an Aircraft Carrier. So to Business Great to see Club legend “Stalky” Callaghan win. Dave playing of 17 had a remarkably steady round recording only one double bogey to return a score of 70. Dave’s score was 3 better than anyone else. Brilliant Davy well done. Class 1 honors went to Eddie Ingram (8) who returned a 74. “Ingers” was trying to complete a remarkable quadruple by winning his 4th July medal in a row. Class 2 honors went to Darrach Nugent (14) who signed for a 73. Class 3 was headed by Mark Williams (19) who returned a 76. There were 3 birdies with 2 of these belonging to Niall O Conner. Tom Mc Grath had the 3rd so well done gents. Index 18 was libelous proposition where that pin was placed, am going to contact my legal team.
