Blessington Lakes club members Tony McGinley, John Searson and Shay Fogarty were lucky enough to tee it up with James Kingston of South Africa in Baltray at the 3 Irish Open in Baltray in 2009. As an Amateur Shane Lowry later went on to become the second youngest person in history to win a european tour title.
